Bereavement Counselling

We offer individual counselling following a telephone assessment.

  • up to 12 sessions are provided by one of our volunteer bereavement counsellors
  • the sessions are held for 50 minutes weekly at one of our counselling rooms in Dollis Hill
  • the sessions are normally on the same day and time each week over the 12 weeks

Our counsellors are all trained in bereavement awareness and are provided with supervision to help them assist our clients effectively.  Supervision also provides support for their own emotional well being and professional development, whilst maintaining quality control.

The process from the initial referral to allocation to one of our counsellors can take between 10 days to 4 weeks, as it depends on the client's needs and availability.
